Bobby Brown Returns

Rookie guard Bobby Brown returned to New Orleans last night where he played on the summer league team ( and where he should have been this season!). He has been giving quality minutes to the Kings so far this season:

16 mins, 6.6 ppg, .446 fg%, .429 3p%

Not only that, he is faster than Mike James and can make his shots (ie. last night). Unbelievable that the Hornets couldn't sign him for pennies.

Probably they should've offered him a deal

Sactown gave him 2 years though. I don’t know if he’d spurn that for one year. The biggest thign was that the Hornets told him he’d have to compete for minutes behind Mike James and Devin Brown. Seems stupid in retrospect.

Playing behind Chris Paul should have been incentive enough.

And, Mike James could have become a feature in a salary dump trade later on in the season.
(Darko Milicic anyone?)

Lol

I read that the Hornets had Chris Paul call Bobby personally. I guess Beno Udrih was more convincing.

At this point, even Darko looks good…

I can't believe Hilton is still on the roster.

There has to be a D-League center just as athletic and can shoot 42% (AS A CENTER!!!!!!!)

How do you shoot 42% as a center? PRetty unreal

Hopefully we can pick up Rod Benson or sometihng. Just having him sit on the bench and blog would be better than what Hilton does.

Hmm

I thought the reason he didn’t get a contract by the Hornets was the fact that they were still hoping/waiting on Pargo. Kings sort of surprised the Hornets…

I'm no commie, but the Reds shall be the best again!

Hmm

I know Jeff Bower decided not to pursue Pargo very early on. I assumed he pretty much knew that he would let Pargo walk when training camp came around.

definitely

The guy is blowing up in Sac-Town (blowing up in terms of an undrafted rookie)…He’s the only other former CSF Titan in the NBA (Bowen is the other one) so I will always cheer for him…Plus the guy has a nice looking shot!
