Good to see
Peja sticking it to Bowen. Especially looked the scowl he gave Bruce running back up court.
Bonzi definitely forcing
Seems like he’s trying to make up for not doing anything the rest of the series. No isn’t the time to mess it all up!
Mo Pete!
46-39, lead down to 7 off a Mo Pete 3. CP is on fire with those little jumpers, 11 pts, 5 assts.
I love how Mike Breen is making up random stuff
“Parker has been a clutch performer” Yeah right. Go look up his elimination game stats.
Duncan got a few calls with his trademark move at the beginning, it’s in SA, so they’re getting the calls, if any. Not many yet.
And now Chris picks up his 2nd.
Its not TOO one sided
But I dont think its even either
I'm doing a little experiment
where I got a Spurs fan and Matt Moore (neutral) to see how many “bad” calls each team gets. So far I counted 2 bad for SA, 2 bad for us (Pargo getting called for the second block, the last Duncan fadeaway thing, Parker fouled on the fastbreak, and I can’t remember the last). The Spurs guy should check in some time soon with his tally.
"I have a man-crush on Manu Ginobili!"
What a dork…
Tim Duncan wasn't his idol. Robinson was.
Shut up Mike Breen. You are an idiot.
Nice class from Timothy though.
This blogging thing is cool
I wish I could see the TV from my computer :)
If I could afford a laptop
I could afford season tickets :)
Halftime Thoughts
Spurs outshot us by 10% (!!!) David West has been awful (3-10) missing some easy shots. Spurs are 5-8 from three. I’m feeling very good to be down only 7.
BUT, CP3 did not get a minute of rest, and much of DX’s poor night has to attributed to Tim Duncan.
Let’s eat ‘em alive in the third!!! Geaux Hornets!!
Where Yat?
No camera for me tonight. It needs a break. Honeybees are taxing ;)
L.A. unfortunately
Though I got to meet CP3 and crew when they came to Staples.
Although I’d rather not remember that game… can’t believe we got down THIRTY
Im a CA expatriot
No way Id leave NOLA for CA. If I gotta swim, I wont go back.
Bob Licht Observations
Three Points for Winning on the Round
1) Score 100 pts, they have 51 right now, on pace. Check.
2) Win 83% of games when they shoot 45% from field. 47% right now, check.
3) Peja (in season) is averaging 3 made threes, he has hit 3 already. Check.
Trail by 7, but it’s always the third Q that matters.
Ouch
THAT WAS NOT A FOUL. And D West is pissed. CP with 4, D with 3.
Lol, and Tyson Chandler calms down Paul and West, nice.
yeah, he needs to sit
but the officiating is BULLSHIT! That second on Paul was BS, the first on West was BS. BULLSHIT!!!!
If I was Byron Scott
I might bench DX right now. Let him clear his head, and let him eat S.A.’s backups alive.
The crescent City Connection
As long as we can hit those, we are IN THE GAME
SA's 3 point luck is going to run out very soon.
Alley oop dunks? That’s the sort of thing that works forever. And the Spurs can’t guard it.
looking BAD
Sit west and let him stew until the next game and watch him break an NBA record
Nope
Any time now. Right now I have it at 4 bad calls (good for Spurs) and 2 bad for us. The two new ones were the second offensive on CP3 and the stupid touch one when DX was screened. Honestly, I don’t think the Spurs surged ahead because of poor officiating. They just hit some timely shots… you can call that luck or whatever you want.
But David West has been SO off today, it’s sad to see :(
this blows
I cant watch any more. It hurts too much
Fluffy out with a bruised back, he has 4 days to recover. Some last thoughts:
1) Home team always, wins, Hornets at home in game 7.
2) D West has had crazy awesome games with crappy games, so he’ll have an awesome game on Monday.
3) Cooler team (NOH) should win.
And I’m out for today.
Highway Robbery
5 fouls and a tech over a 1:23 span…the game was changed and the Spurs never looked back. Unbelievable. If the refs call a game like that in Nola I will personally eschew my season tickets and charge the court…
