West is out

today and most likely Wednesday vs Nets. That injury bug is hitting this team quite often. He’s the offense. It’ll be interesting to see what they do now. This is a big blow.

Yup

Sean Marks will be starting in his place, and let’s hope he will perform. I’ve seen him play extended minutes and do some good stuff out there. Let’s also hope this will give a chance for JuJu and Ely to play more.

Marks looked pretty horrible out there....

But I’m sure a lot of it just rustiness. Aside from a nice dunk that CP3 spoonfed him… His shot was short, he had a silly turnover… he looked kinda hesitant and out of sorts – intimidated by starting perhaps. And he shouldn’t be starting…

Bad start for the team… but CP3 is getting in the lane at will, so if the Hornets decide to play some defense I think they’ll be fine.

Good recovery

I love to see the Paul/Daniels/Peterson/Posey/Hilton lineup. Very good defensively and scored some points.

Peja just showed why he's valuable even when his shot isn't falling...

With the offensive board and the layup…

You can never question Peja’s effort. He’s a smart, hard-working player.

Heh

Makes you wonder why he got no plays run for him for like the first 15 games…

And...

He may be getting hot.

Overall there’s a bit too much basket-trading going on… but I have to say I like the way most everybody is playing thus far. Everyone seems to be atleast trying to step up since D.West isn’t out. Play some solid D and this one should go well…

How heartbreaking

He was having a good game. I hope its not severe. It took him a while to come off that first ankle injury during preseason. We are now paper thin at the big man position. If the owners don’t see now that this team needs some size they nevr will.

CP will have to do what he did last time to beat this team.

Man...

I’m so upset I had to leave for work and thus missed seeing CP3 hit the buzzer beater 3. That’s awesome though.

Indiana has built a rep. for taking teams down to the wire… exciting stuff. Great win too. Everything that could go wrong did… and they pulled it out. And Juju got some burn.

I was just bracing myself for

what could’ve been a bad overtime. Then the play looks like it broke down, and suddenly Paul drills it fading away. Perfect.

Poetic

considering his foul trouble and the constant injuries. They needed to win this in regulation because with Posey and Chris with 5 each, I dont know how they would’ve turned out. Good gutsy win by the bees.
Also good effort by the bench bigs. Marks (although i yelled at him most of the game), Ely, Hil (before he went down) held the middle pretty well after TC went down. they’ll need that same effort wednesday. Glad to see Juju be affective even in few minutes. He’s talented and the energy he brings is needed. His athletic ability can be a difference maker and Scott needs to realize that. Peja, thanks for showing us what we alway knew you could do.
