Offense
has a lot of off ball movement. Looking good, but defense has to step up a little bit. Okafor and West have got to figure out how to play on that side of the ball together.
you know
I really like our rookies. Hopefully with CP3 out, they’ll get the minutes and be to grow into worthier players, making us stronger for when CP does return. If that happens, I think we can salvage this season and be respectable, if not make the playoffs.
I'm proud of my damn strong football team. Have a great day!
Yeah me too
Thornton is an exciting player, and while he’ll probably struggle to be efficient at times early on in his career, I think ultimately he has the potential to be a very solid and productive “instant offense” type 2 guard. His shot selection is a little questionable at times, but I love that he has so much confidence, and I havent really seen him take stupid shots ala Bobby Brown (or in non-Hornets terms, JR Smith). I really enjoy watching him play.
As for Collison, he’s already shown himself to be a great passer and a great defender… once he gets his jumper going he’ll be the complete package when it comes to a backup point guard, and certainly has the potential to be more than that.

Weird
I got posted twice.
Guess my comment was more important than I thought!

Yeah,
And I like how we did it. Turns out when you play defense, you can take a lead on the other team. Neat!
On the other hand
Offense looked good. A lot of off the ball movement throughout the game (except for that stretch in the 4th where B. Brown got reckless), and not just on one or two plays for Peja. Speaking of Peja, he learned some things from Buckets and had a couple nice cuts to the hoop. Assists were scattered throughout the box score, and the combined lines for Collison/BB (24pts 11ast) looked damn near CP3ish. Again, it was the Clippers, but still it’s a good starting point.
