Will be fun to watch Jennings

for the first time this season. Let’s see if the hype is legit.

Only one I've seen

was his GS game on replay. Pretty impressive

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 7:21 PM CST up reply actions

Phew..

Stojakovic hit a 3. For a moment there, I thought this bout of 3 pointers has come to an end

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 7:32 PM CST reply actions

I love Jeff Bower

more by the day. Way to be.

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 7:37 PM CST up reply actions

I still miss Byron Scott though..I don’t know why…there’s still that attachment haha..but I’m happy with the coaching change

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 7:38 PM CST up reply actions

Urghh..

Devin Brown’s name does not look pretty coming up consecutively on the play-by-play that I’m forced to read and follow.

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 7:40 PM CST reply actions

It can’t get any worse….right?!

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 7:52 PM CST up reply actions

This is disgusting

Tempted to turn it off at half.

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 8:04 PM CST reply actions

We got them in foul trouble..

We should try and get to the free throw line as much as possible…

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:07 PM CST up reply actions

On a side note...

Marcus Camby currently has 20 rebounds

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:06 PM CST reply actions

I can’t believe we’re still “in this game”

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:09 PM CST up reply actions

I've seen enough

of David West this year. This guy is so frustrating. He’s a baby on the court always whining about literally everything. He never backs anyone down in the post. He settles for too many midrange jumpers. Oh and he has no clue how to play defense or get himself into a play. He stands around and does nothing. I’m done defending him. This guy has just quit trying. Trade him for a player that’s a little interested in playing basketball because this guy is a horror to watch while he’s on the court.

I can live with him as our second best player

He is what he is, a 19/9 kind of guy who will never be the most efficient player from the floor. His game is midrange, and that won’t be changing any time soon either. But within the context of his limitations- including defense and his propensity to force the issue offensively when he’s struggling- I’ll take his contributions any day. He’s struggling now, but his shot and above average help defense make him a unique asset.

He hasn’t been good so far this year… at all. I won’t deny that. I just think it wouldn’t be so much of an issue if Devin and Bobby Brown weren’t force fed minutes every game and if Chris Paul wasn’t hurt. West will certainly recover to become a borderline All-Star guy (in my opinion, on the wrong side of the border). And the more this team can start winning games, I think the effort will recover. Hard to give 100% effort when the Browns are chucking/turning it over and the team is struggling against the Bucs. Just my two cents.

ugh

I hate eating my words. Btw is it just me or do the commentators ALWAYS jinx our players?

At this rate, I reckon Marks can shoot better than him…

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:41 PM CST up reply actions

something funny..

devin brown is our best shooter tonight at 5-11 FG

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 8:42 PM CST reply actions

That’s how it should be..given him playing SG

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:43 PM CST up reply actions

some positive stats...

hornets 21-23 on FTs
bucks 5-9

hornets 44 rebs
bucks 34

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 8:49 PM CST reply actions

Now the dilemma

Does Bower go with the bench, or play the unit he’s been going with for the quarter and let them play the whole 4th?

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 8:53 PM CST reply actions

i cant see the game

but is this stellar defense or disgusting offense contributing to the terrible shooting?

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 9:05 PM CST reply actions

Haha

I wouldn’t call it stellar defense at all.

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 9:06 PM CST up reply actions

Urghh..

I think Marks should get more minutes…hahaha…

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 9:09 PM CST reply actions

Hahaha..yeah…no bias at all (eye roll) lol

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 9:10 PM CST up reply actions

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 9:14 PM CST reply actions

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 9:19 PM CST reply actions

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 9:19 PM CST up reply actions

Unless we do something

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 9:22 PM CST reply actions

like get a stop and put the ball in the bucket on a single possession? could help

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 9:23 PM CST up reply actions

Okay

Game Over for real now.

We’ve pretty much gifted this game to the Bucks.

by Rohan on Nov 25, 2009 9:24 PM CST reply actions

yeah…bloody NZ internet isn’t letting me watch streams…it’s weird..sometimes I get really good streams..some nights..they’re very bad…maybe it isn’t my internet…maybe it’s the broadcaster?

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 9:39 PM CST up reply actions

Urghhh..shouldn’t have picked him up in my Fantasy team…

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 9:46 PM CST up reply actions

Darren Collison

Rookie of the Year.

Why not us? http://hornetshoops.blogspot.com/

by LocoSaint on Nov 25, 2009 9:55 PM CST reply actions

jennings is the fave atm, but for this game:

Jennins: 14 pts, 4-15 FG, 7 rebs, 8 asts, 5 TO’s, 4 stls
Collison: 18 pts, 5-12 FG, 7 rebs, 8 asts, 5 TO’s, 2 stls

by trottsta on Nov 25, 2009 9:57 PM CST up reply actions

Woah, almost identical stat line

by JChangNZ on Nov 25, 2009 10:34 PM CST up reply actions

stat lines are great, but

look at how these players played in clutch moments. Clearly Collison won that by a landslide.
