Chris Paul is Good at Basketball

Lee will have the recap... but in the mean time...

This is easily the best scoring stretch of Chris Paul's career, probably in terms of volume, and definitely in terms of efficiency.

He's made 54 shots on the season and missed just 30. 12 for 15 on threes. 150 points, good for a 30.0 ppg flat average. 75% true shooting! It's 5 games, but it's 5 of the best games we've ever seen in an already brilliant career.

Its crazy...

His mid-range game was already close to the best, if not the best, in the league. Now its even better, and he’s lighting it up from three.

It's getting bad

When he missed that shot from under the basket late in the 4th, I was annoyed with him until i realized how skewed my expectations were b/c it was Paul. Anyone else I would have said “wow, what a great effort” but with paul I say “why the heck didn’t that go in?”

I’m spoiled.

I'm proud of my damn strong football team. Have a great day!

Yep. I was disappointed when he didn’t hit that halfcourt shot at the end of regulation.

Seriously

Those 3 missed FT’s were totally out of the blue.

Terry, I wasn't so sure about.

But when I saw Barea brick that first free throw, I knew he wasn’t making the second.

Haha Okafor knew too

He was crouched down like a runner about to start a race after he bricked the first one, ready to spring for the rebound. It pays to be prepared :-)

Problem is Paul needs to score

He doesnt have enough effective players to pass too. He is averaging only 8 dimes because he has ineffective teammates, hence the 30ppg scoring average.
