Hahaha
I was confused at first… didn’t realize what this was. But its all-star votes. That’s just crazy. T-Mac? AGAIN? Hahaha, the dude hasn’t played a single minute of NBA basketball.
China
is probably to blame for most of those votes? We all know the affinity for Ming, but correct me if I’m wrong, McGrady is beloved too?

I think you're right, the Rockets get a lot of votes through China
Ariza and Scola are 6th and 8th in forwards, McGrady and Brooks are 2nd and 7th in guards. There’s no HOU center on the ballot I don’t think.
Yeah I know, that's why I said "again?"
Same thing happened last year for a while… but I honestly didn’t really expect it with T-Mac not even playing a single game yet. Maybe that’s naive.
Ah well, by the end I’m sure things will even out and CP will have more than T-Mac… just like last year.
I'm just worried about Nash this time.
I’m fairly certain the NBA fudged the numbers to push Paul past McGrady last year… CP made up a crazy amount of ground in the last week. So the NBA might be more inclined to push the current #3 (Nash) past McG intead of Paul.
Yeah that could happen I guess...
But if CP does somehow not get in through fan voting, as ludicrous as that would be… he’d get in through the coaches selection.
All the Asians love TMac.
I dont think they realise that hes injured and probably wont be playing with Ming next season.

The better question
Is why is McGradyeven on the ballot? Sure, sure, they were submitted this summer. But, really, wasn’t Yao’s chances of playin in 2009 about the same? Pathetic.

The best question
Is does anyone really care about the fan vote, anyway? It is never correct and pretty worthless as a whole. Not really a big deal to me whether or not Chris gets voted in.
It isn't
But a lot of prominent analysts and stuff often use AS appearances to say Player X > Player Y. And lots of people listen to these analysts unfortunately.
But
I think even then they use appearances like you said, not AS games started. CP will make it even if he isn’t voted a starter by the fans.
