Let's do this New Orleans

Let’s get back to .500 and get back into the thick of things in the wild wild tough west.

great stuff

If I have had one beef with this team we don’t jump on teams liking this early we have!

Thornton is playing dumb tonight

I love the kid but damn what is he doing with these forced shots…they are awful

Agreed.

This is the most angry I’ve been since last year’s home loss to the woeful Warriors. I am an eternal optimist, with a realistic threshold. Guess what. I just hit it. We do, in fact, suck.

Same

I was sort of building up hope after the TWolves- beat the Knicks, get to .500, showdown with Dallas on Monday.

Now it’s more like we barely scraped by the Twolves, got blown out by NYK, and I don’t care in the slightest what happens Monday.

I don't get it...

Personell-wise… this team has just as much talent/skill as last year’s injury-riddled 49-win team, if not more… a team that when healthy was close to equal in talent to the 56-win team of 07-08.

Two talented, promising rookies… one of whom can finally be a capable backup to CP, Emeka who is giving us a lot more than we got from Chandler last season, and Peja is actually on the floor and hitting shots. West has regressed, certainly… but otherwise I just don’t get it. Why is the offense mediocre and why has the defense absolutely collapsed?

When Emeka plays 10 minutes total

and scores 12 points and gets 5 rebounds, a lose is only inevitable.

What was the coaching staff thinking? Seriously, what the f***?

Box score says he played 20 total

(I actually missed this game, was at work).

But 20 is still far too few… Bower/Floyd seem to like running the small ball lineup lately, and sometimes it works… but Darius Songalia, even though he played pretty well according to the box score, should not get more minutes than Emeka freaking Okafor. Shouldn’t happen unless Mek is in serious foul trouble. I like a lot of things Bower/Floyd have done, but I’m quite puzzled with the way Mek’s minutes have been handled.
