D. West has got his jumper back!

And the team is doing just about everything better so far… big improvement over last game, I hope they keet it up.

Man I hate to see JuJu with those silly turnovers

He’s got to get his dribble under control.

That’s the only bad note so far though.. I like the effort tonight. When I was watching the Bulls game, I thought the effort was there just not the execution – and maybe it was, but tonight the team seems much more focused.

Yeah, ouch

All three of those were super ugly too

by Rohan on Feb 6, 2009 7:52 PM CST up reply actions

Good D so far and we're spacing the court.

I’m starting to like Sean Marks and I feel if he continues not to shoot jumpers that we’ll fine depth wise.

Man, Daniels has such an ugly floater

It always just bangs off the backboard and into the opposition’s hands… ha.

But he’s playing better overall.

Need to slow down the Raptors fast break.

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 7:58 PM CST reply actions

Man CP3 wannabe. He can't be CP3, that floater's just awful.

We gotta stop with the dumb inbound passes. I think this is 3 straight games that we threw the ball away on an inbound.

Ugly turnaround

Waaay too many turnovers.

Still a very winnable game though.

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 8:06 PM CST reply actions

Yikes

Could the Hornets have played any more lazily the last 5 minutes?

by Rohan on Feb 6, 2009 8:07 PM CST reply actions

Not by much.

I dont know what happened

They’re on and then they’re off…

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 8:13 PM CST up reply actions

That's when CP3 could have taken over the game and got us back on track.

On a side note, does anyone know if CP3 or Tyson have practiced recently.

They showed them working out on TV

Chris Paul didn’t seem to be at full speed in what they showed, but they later said that both Paul and Chandler were sprinting full speed up and down the floor earlier. I don’t think either has been in full practice though.

by Rohan on Feb 6, 2009 8:19 PM CST up reply actions

Good to hear Chandler was sprinting. Guess that ankle is starting to get stronger.

Any possibility that he or CP3 play Sunday?

Love Bowen...

But I think we’re starting to see a little why he doesn’t play a lot

by Rohan on Feb 6, 2009 8:32 PM CST reply actions

Damn love to see Sool and A.D. get to the rack and not be a sissy when they get there.

They’re going up strong trying to dunk the ball and when they don’t, they draw a foul. Who here besides me, think Sool-Bop’s dunk is the dunk of the night?

Love the aggression

Butler and Daniels got the team and the crowd back into it.

Need to play solid D.

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 8:40 PM CST reply actions

Peja catches on fire from three

So obviously Byron Scott has him touch the ball 0 times on the last 6 possessions to end the quarter. Great coaching yet again.

I think it's safe to say

More than safe even, that Sean Marks has turned out to be the most reliable back up big we have.

If this one slips away… atleast we can say the team hung in there, but there’s still a lot of time.

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 8:56 PM CST reply actions

I still think we are missing the point.

Without Chris Paul this team is woeful! How come no one is angry?? There is no one on this team that can consistenly score for us like Paul. West needs to be more assertive and just give it to him and create off the post or even the dribble. This team is awful and I want to see some changes! Maybe putting in Mo Pete? I mean he used to be a guy who could dribble and shoot and get hot for us on some nights, has Byron forgotten about him??

Mo Pete is injured

I think this team is doing about as well as we can expect missing Paul, Chandler and Mo Pete.

by Caleb462 on Feb 6, 2009 9:09 PM CST up reply actions

Ah okay

Well okay its just Mo still doesn’t see any action this year even with him not injured.
