That's just asking for a sweep
THey need to stay 6th. Hope they are ready for these two games.
Howard is not cooperating
He was a major non factor in Hornets winning the series and first two games of the year
Another pathetic
non-driving gameplan for the Hornets offensively. You’d figure they learned their lesson from the Phoenix game.
Not starting off well at all
hornets fub a fast break and Dallas converts.
Down 12 already
Chris will have to score solo again? Isn’t that the plan to beat this team?
And to set a new record
I’ve begun writing a recap in the 1st quarter. I have no faith whatsoever in Byron to turn this around.
They look defeated already.
It’s not just about missed shots. They look lost and unsure. This is a team that’s not confident
I HATTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE DEVIN BROWN WITH A PASSION!
Posey will come through in the playoffs. Devin Brown just takes away oxygen from CP3.

this team is so damn soft
they have absolutely know clue what to do.
I am so angry that I really want to go out there and play for them.
Drive and draw a foul, shooting isn’t going to get you out of this game.
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
that's common sense
Hornets don’t play with that
Keep chris paul out
Give the starters rest, might as well.
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
i was just about to say this
if you want to rest him. let him rest. this is over
Any way we can trade our playoff spot
to the Suns for a draft pick? I’d settle for a 3rd round draft pick at this point.
You guys are pathetic. We're still in good position as long as TC comes back which he states he's close to.
Devin Brown is a basketball God!
No
This team is pathetic. You can’t look this lost without one player.

What will he do on a wonky ankle and for how long?
He’s barely jogging right now. He’ll be ready to sprint and plant and jump in a week? It’ll be like when he came back from traded. And if they face the lakers….forget it. it won’t matter what he does.
They may give them a fight
but the lakers are too deep for the Hornets. Bynum is back and that two headed monster at center will eat up a combo of less than 100 TYson/Marks/Ely/Armstrong. They will rely heavily on CP and West and that is not enough to beat them IMO.
No. The Lakers do not want to play us in Round 1.
Especially if we’re healthy. Tyson is coming back strong and I wouldn’t be suprised if he puts us over the top. We competed with L.A. without Tyson even when they had Bynum. Plus the games in N.O. will not turn out like they did earlier. Fans and players will be much more hyped. The fans might put us over if they really fan up IMO.

This is hard to believe with the way they have played
so i’ll just wait and see if this happens.
I don't think CP and West deserve this/
they don’t deserve to be on such a bad team like this. Sure they are carrying the load, but wouldn’t they prefer to be on a TEAM and not a bunch of people who look like idiots.
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
We're not a bad team. WTF?!!? Have you seen our record when we're actually completely healthy?

Yeah but when is that going to happen?
In the playoffs? Maybe. With a unhealthy Tyson Chandler.
Also when the chips are down teams show their true colours, and at the moment they show no heart at all.
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
I think the not completely healthy reason
is valid, but it gets Byron get off way too easily. Fact is, he’s come up with horrible gameplan after horrible gameplan, and we are suffering because of it. I mean, tonight is one of the laziest offensive strategies I’ve seen in a while (screen, shoot jump shot), and for a team that has Chris Paul and David West on it, it’s inexcusable.
We are sooooooo lucky to be down by JUST 10.
I know we will lose this game, but god damn how the hell are we down by just 10?
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
Patients is a virtue.
Guess if you were looking to describe me, Virtue would not be a word used.
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
Nope, lol.

Does anyone else get confused with West and Ely?
New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.
I'd rather they run a play for their shooters to get open.
sets some hard screens like mavs just did for Dirk
At least he's open on those shots
but why is it that they can’t get peja or butlet open like that? It makes no freakin sense. they have 7 shots combined. HOW!
And people wonder why cp and west have been playing a two man game?
Butler’s had 2 wide open shots and badly misses. i don’t blame Cp and west for shooting everytime down.
Great Chris kneww bothering him again
he needs to wear a brace. Its really hurting. take him out. now
How did Byron not see that Dirk iso coming
His reaction after the play seems to be one of complete surprise.
Can you guys believe these numbers
High scorers
CP – 42
West – 20
Peja – 9
Speaks to how uncreative this offense is
It’s just guys standing around watching Paul and West do stuff.
New Orleans Hornets
Where getting no rebounds happens.
when you got ely, hilton, and marks as your centers what do you expect.
i love tyson but that trade would be paying off right now.
Yes, but
that trade would not be paying off next year. I still think we have a reasonable shot next year with this current lineup if Tyson can rest up during the summer. That trade would have made this our last year of legitimate contention until the expiration of the Peja deal.
You are correct.
We are horrible right now. We can’t get any rebounds. We’re down four, and we can’t get crucial rebounds. Hell, we aren’t even trying. The Hornets weren’t anywhere to be found when the ball bounced off the rim. And on the off chance that a Hornet had the ball in his hand, he would give it up to a Maverick in seconds.
