I need a game link!

I have to watch this game, anyone got a link?

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

I'm on League Pass right now

I’ll let oyu know if I see one. Does Phoenix’s constant flopping annoy anyone else? If they spent less time falling down all over the place, they might actually be able to play some defense.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:22 PM CDT up reply actions

Dont worry I found one.

Yeah im watching a Phoneix feed and their like “Nash just got manhandled, hes no flopper!” I dropped my jaw.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:23 PM CDT up reply actions

Hahaha nice

And yeah. Their annoucners are kinda over the top. Also nice to see Nash can flop on the offensive side.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:25 PM CDT up reply actions

Suns playing very lackadasial...

I know they aren’t know for their defense, but they are barely putting up any resistance. Under D’Antoni they were atleast an average, if not exceptional, defensive team.

Hope they continue.

And yes, they flop hard.

Man D west on the bench...

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:26 PM CDT reply actions

Stupid call

I hate how Pierce/Nash/Kidd get away with leaning into the defender. Yes, you got him in the air. But that doesn’t mean you can follow him with your body and crash into him. Those 3 guys consistently get the call, and it’s total garbage.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:26 PM CDT up reply actions

Haha Dudly

He won the dunk comp in my NBA Live season

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:29 PM CDT reply actions

LOL

The only video game dunk contest I’ve played is the NBA 2K. And in that, it’s more fun to make guys crash headfirst into cars while trying to jump over them.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:32 PM CDT up reply actions

What I am liking...

Is the time that David is spending on the bench. Keep him there for as long as possible.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:31 PM CDT reply actions

We could be working a lead.

Instead we just keep them in the game. This is what kills us! It greatly annoys me.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:37 PM CDT reply actions

Oh yeah there was lots of great stuff.

But its those “little” runs that keep other teams in the game. Elite teams would extend the lead instead we keep it close.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:40 PM CDT up reply actions

Nah not neccesarilly

I’ve seen the Lakers, the Spurs, etc… let a lot of inferior teams hang around. It happens. Granted, it probably happens to the Hornets a bit more often… but yeah.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 7:43 PM CDT up reply actions

Yep totally agree.

But when was the last time the Hornets blew out a team early in a game and kept it that way. Im not trying to argue its just a frustration of mine.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:47 PM CDT up reply actions

I hear ya...

The last full on blowout was probably against Orlando.

And then Golden State after that almost qualifies as well… though they made a run in the 4th.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 8:04 PM CDT up reply actions

Alot of missed jumpshots

keeps teams in games. And dumb fouls & and1s.

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 7:42 PM CDT reply actions

Man

Mo had to have had the wind knocked clean out of him on that

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:47 PM CDT up reply actions

David how can you not see Shaq coming.....

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:45 PM CDT reply actions

Yeah

Mo at least has a blatant foul to blame

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Its odd...

It was just a week or two ago when the bench strung together several good games in a row…. which corresponded with the starters not playing well for once. Now its back to good play by the starters and no bench. It’s like the Hornets aren’t allowed to have both.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 8:02 PM CDT up reply actions

Thats a joke.

If Shaq is running the fast break you know your bad.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:50 PM CDT reply actions

Oh great my link just stopped....

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 7:52 PM CDT reply actions

So did Hornets offense

Alot of standing around shooting and missing and no rebounding.

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 7:55 PM CDT up reply actions

The transition between

the bench and the starters coming back is just as bad as the bench itself. It’s preposterous that Byron hasn’t found a way to somewhat fix this 78 games into the season.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 7:54 PM CDT reply actions

I'm torn

Id go for the blazers to get closer to that home court spot, but getting that spot mean facing Houston instead of Spurs which I don’t think I have a problem with that

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 8:05 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah...

But with Ginobli out, and the history with San Antonio… I think the Spurs are probably the better matchup.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 8:14 PM CDT up reply actions

Blazers are not up 12

after being down 19! 4 minutes to go but Tim is not playing. I think they will rest him these last few games. They can fall in the standings

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 8:19 PM CDT up reply actions

Wow

David West. Wow. That might have been the saddest thing I’ve seen this year.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 8:06 PM CDT reply actions

Hornets playing suns

non defense to end the half. THey have to play harder defense.

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 8:06 PM CDT reply actions

Nervous to only have 2 poor lead.

But all signs point to us being the better team. Let’s how we prove that in 2H.

by m-W on Apr 8, 2009 8:11 PM CDT reply actions

I know this is futile

But does anyone have a working Hornets link they are watching?

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

This is embarresing, im going to get some food.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

OHHH NOO!!!.

Devin Brown is in……………………………………………

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 8:45 PM CDT reply actions

I have no clue why...

But the Hornets seemed to be completely mystified by Phoenix playing zone.

It doesn’t look good right now, hopefully the 4th quarter starts well.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 8:49 PM CDT reply actions

I don't think they have it in them after last night honestly.

they are more than horrible covering the 3. i mean they are not trying.
this will be a bad loss but whatever.

I cant make them out

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 8:55 PM CDT reply actions

There's no one on the team that can even begin to guard Shaq..

And they can’t (or… aren’t) rotating quickly enough to cover the open shooters.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 8:58 PM CDT up reply actions

true but when he was out they still couldn't score or defend.

They have Julian going one on one? Might as well have Brown in giving them empty possessions.

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 9:00 PM CDT up reply actions

I dont get this Hornets team...

I just dont….who are they on a night to night basis….??

Inconsistent.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 8:58 PM CDT reply actions

Again

It’s all about Tyson. David West has guarded Shaq the whole night, meaning constant double teams.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 9:03 PM CDT up reply actions

We miss TC.

Devin Brown is a basketball God!

These suns commentators are awful....

They say the Suns D is really giving it to the Hornets…I am appalled

HOW THE F WAS THAT OFFENSIVE!!!!???

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 9:04 PM CDT reply actions

Games over.

I dont mean to be negative but these guys show no heart which is something I find really frustrating.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 9:06 PM CDT reply actions

I disagree on that count...

They have looked sluggish tonight yes, particularly in the 3rd and that was very dissapointing – but they still have plenty of heart left – you don’t win as many close games as the Hornets have without having some passion left.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 9:36 PM CDT up reply actions

You know this teams is dumb

why would you foul when they had 2 seconds on the clock?

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 9:16 PM CDT reply actions

On that play the ball wasn't even inbounded yet

it looked like he fouled him purposely. i was sure they would get freethrows and the ball. if he scores with 2 seconds then so be it but that foul gave them 14sec to score rather than 2.

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 9:41 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah I know I'm just saying...

Shaq was unstoppable near the basket, as he generally is, so I can understand Ely getting a foul trying to prevent Shaq from getting too close. It was a bad play though… obviously

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 9:43 PM CDT up reply actions

the man is a brick wall

ask Mo and Devin. I’m sure thats why everybody stay away from the paint. they were already tired and they werent trying to get hurt trying to go to the basket with him in there.

Ah well

by RonD on Apr 8, 2009 9:48 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeh they are awful

They think the Suns play good D….They also seem to think they are in the playoff race despite not mentioning it.

New Orleans Hornets: The most inconsistent team in the NBA.

by Grayson on Apr 8, 2009 9:21 PM CDT up reply actions

I didn't realize how crazy a flopper Nash was

I mean we might have to rethink the whole “Nash is a bad defender” considering all these ridiculous fouls he draws.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 9:22 PM CDT reply actions

Yeah

I actually used to really like him. Didn’t know his flopping was this prevalent.

by Rohan on Apr 8, 2009 9:25 PM CDT up reply actions

On the bright side

the 5-6-7 seeds are all pretty much equal.

draft dejuan blair

by Cablinasian on Apr 8, 2009 9:23 PM CDT reply actions

Sigh...

Well, whatever. Some nice shots down the stretch but too little too late…
I don’t really care that much at this point as I think the 6 seed will suit us best as long as SA remains the 3 seed.

by Caleb462 on Apr 8, 2009 9:34 PM CDT reply actions

Why did Ely foul Nash when we were down 3

with about 30 secs left? I might be missing something but i think we should’ve played them straight up or at least fouled Shaq.

by kitsunegari on Apr 8, 2009 9:39 PM CDT reply actions

The Hornets bench is fucking horrible.

Melvin Ely was supposed to guard Shaq, but he fouls him for no reason with 2 seconds on the clock? And Julian Wright was absolutely horrible in the third quarter. He ran the shot clock out and his shots didn’t even hit the rim. Damn, this team threw the game away. This is enraging.
