A Question for ATH
I'm doing a little research for an article on SactownRoyalty.com, and I'm going to all the managers of each NBA teams respective SBN blog to get some answers to a few questions. If you wouldn't mind, it would be a big help to my article.
My questions:
* What are your teams needs?
* Which two players on the Kings (excluding Tyreke Evans), would you like to see the Hornets acquire most if they were available and why.
* What do you think a reasonable and realistic trade involving both sides could look like?

One person who is missing is the recently acquired Hilton Armstrong who is at 2.8 Million owed this season with a qualifying offer next season.
Thank you for your time.

I'm not a manager but...
Here is my take:
- What are your teams needs? WINGS!!! and frontcourt athleticism and rebounding.
- Which two players on the Kings would you like to see the Hornets acquire most if they were available and why? Kevin Martin and Jason Thompson. Martin would be a perfect compliment to Martin because he could get him easy shots and really feature him in the offense. There wouldn’t be as much competition for shots as there may be for Tyreke as he is a bit more of a scoring guard than Chris averages 20 points a game but he’d rather average 20 assists.
Thompson would be perfect compliment to Okafor. He has length and athleticism which would compliment Okafor’s bulk. Thompson could patrol the paint and play pick and roll D, and Meka could guard back to the basket bigs. Both could provide good weakside D.
- What do you think a reasonable and realistic trade involving both sides could look like? I’ve posted this on the Sactown website before but… Francisco Garcia and Nocioni for Peja Stojakovic. We really need wings who can play d and hit the 3. Both Garcia and Noc can do that. Their contracts are really long, and trading for Peja brings back a player who expries next year. I think you guys can turn his contract into a really serious play coupled with some of your young prospects and draft picks.
