I concur with you
caleb this team bewilders me sometimes, and other times they just mae me smile like a proud father.
New Orleans is in 8th...
Actually, they’re back in 8th. They were briefly there following Phoenix’s loss to the Bobcats, but the Suns redeemed themselves winning that home game against the Mavericks (subsequently moving them back into the play-off seedings).
What hurts, is that yesterday New Orleans could’ve been in 6th place. And I don’t mean that they could’ve been in 6th just by winning the game, but that by simple rationale, New Orleans should have won that game (up two, with possession of the basketball, 8.4 seconds to go on the shot-clock). What a fucking heart-breaker.
Even with Portland’s win over Dallas tonight, we still would’ve been a half -game in front for the 6th seed.
Sunday’s NBA TV features Phoenix playing Houston at the Toyota Center. If Phoenix loses, Houston ties it up with New Orleans, thus moving them into seventh—-they’ve got a worse conference record, but a better division record (sucks I know, but it’s how the cookie crumbles)—-and the Hornets stay in 8th.
If Phoenix wins, the Rockets move all the way down to 11th, but the Suns pull ahead, a full game over New Orleans (keep in mind, the Rockets are a division rival).
Who do you root for in this case?
DC FTW

Loved the Hornets since I was about 8 years old and have been following them every game this season – watch every game I can online and those on ONE HD.
Must say I was super ****ing impressed with Collison tonight. 17, 18 and 6 baby! Awesome numbers. We own the Grizz. After the horrible mistakes with high picks for Armstrong and Wright, loving the agressiveness of Collison (even if he does make his share of Rookie mistakes) and the sweet shooting of Marcus Thorton. Best pair of rooks the Hornets have had in a long, long time. See a lot of CP3 in DC, seems to play his best ball when CP is out. Has great handles and isn’t afraid to take it to the rack, even if he doesn’t have the around the basket nous that Paul has yet (but very few point guards do outside of Nash).
But the best part tonight was seeing the smile on CP3’s face every time Collison made a great play, I truly believe he will stay in New Orleans for a few more years yet. Also think we have a better team than 07/08 now and for the future.
Get well soon CP and Pose!

My god its so f’n annoying watching Lakers, Rockets and Bucks games here…
One Hornets game this year was against the Rockets (and we lost…)
I watched the game, god damn it was great. Collison looked like CP out there keeping his dribble alive moving the defense every which way. Absolutly silly. Now we just need to put together a little streak and buffer ourselves from the other competing teams.
