According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Chris Paul is set to undergo arthroscopic surgery for a partial tear in his left knee. Preliminary reports say he could miss 1 to 2 months. BUMMER! Now we know Darren Collison performed well against Memphis but he'll have to do it a lot more if the Hornets are to make this year's playoffs. Sure makes us fans glad we drafted Dimes during last year's draft.
On another note, looks like we need to find a replacement PG for the roster in the interim. Do we go D-League and try out a couple of guys or sign an available PG to a minimum contract since we have room on the roster? Guess trading Bobby Brown away was a terrible mistake?

Nah, you can’t call it a mistake unless you thought so at the time, and I didn’t think so. Obviously there is a danger to trading away depth for no depth in return, but unforeseen circumstances don’t suddenly make the move a mistake.
I think this probably ruins our playoff chances. As good as DC has played in CP’s abscence, he simply can’t be expected to carry the team like CP does. I am very curious to see what he does during this time though – he now has a chance to really make a name for himself in the league. I hate that CP went down, but honestly I’m excited to see what Dimes and Buckets do with tons of playing time and even more freedom. I won’t worry if the team struggles somewhat, as long as we continue to see the great effort we’ve been seeing lately.

I was hopeful for CP after he struck the camera. It is one of those freak accidents you can’t predict.
And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at Fight Club, you have to fight.

The chances for the playoffs hinge a lot on the prognosis of Paul’s Knee when it gets scoped. Management is hoping it’s only a 1 month deal but it could end up being a lot longer than that. Won’t know until they’ve gone in – let’s keep our fingers crossed!

I don't think this totally kills our playoff chances
We have proven we can beat playoff teams w/o CP. Does this make it harder hell yes, but it can still be done. Also what if cp only misses the lower end 3 to 4 weeks. We still have a good team. The question though is how long does posey miss I bench is very thin now.
