We all know this is a crucial time for the Cats to stay focused and get ourselves into the playoffs. I'd like to see what everyone's opinions are on the remainder of the season. Which back-to-backs we might have issues with. What games are MUST wins, and so on.
Starting with Mondays game against Toronto. We've got a few things on our side with this game. We have a few days off after a good win. It's a home game, and Toronto will be on the back side of a back-to-back. The Raptors play the Heat on sunday night which could have playoff implications for us. As of right now it's looking like Toronto is stuck in the 8 seed with not a lot of gumption for going any further. They have a tougher schedule to end the season than both the Cats or Miami. The Bucks have an interesting challenge. They play Memphis, The Cavs, The Cats, The Suns, Boston twice, and Atl. They are either going to show absolute dominance and crush, or we have a great shot at getting the 5th seed.
We had a tough time with the new and improved Bucks the last time we played them, but we could definitely make our case next friday when we have em at home. We have three back-to-back games coming up to end the season. We've got Bucks/Bulls on friday and saturday. Then a break till tuesday(april6th) when we play Atl/NO. Then Houston/Detroit to follow that on the 9th/10th. The good thing is...we have atleast one home game in each of those back to backs. The bad thing is....we play New Jersey again, and I think this is ONLY NBA blog where that both frightens and enrages the fans
We have a shot at getting back at Joe Johnson, so Jack, you can get back the "one" you owe that night. As far as the Nets go, We should have three centers by that time(I saw that Naz is scheduled to be back in the next few games) so....lets get Brook Lopez out early!
Anyway, discuss, and lets keep it rollin! GO CATS!
