(A) The Roster: At Long Last, We Have One

We've got fifteen players and a reasonable enough starting five. The current depth chart looks something like this:

Greivis Vasquez	Marco Belinelli	Al-Farouq Aminu	Jason Smith	Chris Kaman
Squeaky Johnson	Trey Johnson	DaJuan Summers	Gustavo Ayon
			Lance Thomas

Not too shabby. Ayon and Thomas can be switched into that #3 center role as well, behind Kaman. Okafor's basically a lock to start at the 5 because of his defensive ability. Anyone you see moving around on this depth chart? Does the starting lineup change at all this year?

We have an interesting team.

We’ll be competitive. Better than what people think, but not good enough to get a playoff spot. I expect Kaman and Landry to get traded at the deadline once the team is out of it.

Tired of people assuming we wont make the playoffs.

This Roster is better the Last years and we made the playoffs. How many times did Chris Paul just not show up during games last year. (regular season) All it takes is one injury to someone in this short compacted season and other teams will tumble. Mark this down, we WIN every game in December.

Wooooooooo! I can’t wait to start watching some b-ball. Does anyone know anything about our new D Leagers- Johnson, summers, and Thomas? Are they just bodies for practice or something more?

http://www.nbadraft.net/players/dajuan-summers he could be good, hes only 23 and has good size, detroit was a mess last year so he didnt get much of a shot with them, did a bit of googling and found this

Coach K also said he believes senior forward Lance Thomas, a former St. Benedict’s Prep standout who chose Duke over Rutgers, could make an NBA roster.
"All of a sudden someone’s going to really like Lance, whether they draft him or bring him to camp and keep him because he’s almost 6-9, he’s got great energy. He’s really improved offensively. He’s a glue guy and he can play defense and he can defend multiple positions," he said
Coach K said Thomas has shortcomings as a player, but has developed into a tremendous defender.
"I think he’s our most versatile defender," he said. "We have him guarding from centers to point guards."

Johnson is alright, decent for a 3rd stringer, he was pretty good friends with paul and if im not mistaken hes been in our training camp in at least 2 of the last 3 years . Im Mexican so ill definitely be rooting for Ayon

About The Roster

It doesn’t look great as a collective unit but it’s nice to have individual players to cheer for. It’ll take some getting used to for a few of them but the team will compete and they’ll be fun, if not frustrating, to watch this year.

Kaman is definitely Chewbacca or Captain Caveman. And please keep insisting on calling Gordon “The Commish” because I don’t care for his other nickname, “Silent Assassin.” Or “Hot Dog.” (If you were at the scrimmage).
