[POLL] Straight up: CP3 or Eric Gordon?
If you had to choose between Chris Paul and Eric Gordon, who would you choose? We're not talking trade scenarios, or contracts, or any of that other stuff. Assume a straight-up trade, with both players being under team control for roughly the same amount of time and dollars. You can only have one or the other on your team. Which one?
(75 word minimum nonsense for a FanPost, blah blah blah blah blah).

It is close
Given the fact that Paul is older, his left knee had to be surgically repaired, and the fact that it couldn’t be reattached and had to be removed, and the fact that he has bone on bone problems similar to randon Roy, AND the fact that Gordon is younger, has a better shot, longer shot, more accurate shot, I think I will take my chances with Eric Gordon. Plus, given the Clippers scenario, they already have Gordon, and not many teams have close to what they offer even without Gordon. Giving up one prize piece of the puzzle to acquire another seems rather stupid IMO. Youth goes a long ways these days, and so does health.

He's not worth it
Straight up, right now I would still go with Gordon. Paul has only one meniscus in his left knee, and is rubbing bone on bone. People were saying that Miami Heat should go after Brandon Roy before he said he was retiring. I also said that was stupid, and my point was proven when Roy retired. I give Paul 3 years tops, and he’s out of the NBA. Gordon at the least still has his knees. That jumper, the first step, his sweet shot, I’d go with Gordon. If the Clippers can secure Paul without giving up Gordon, their starting lineup would be Gordon, Paul, Griffin, Butler, and Jordan. That’s playoff caliber, title hunt contender right there!
