Got a trade idea
via i.cdn.turner.com
So this trade is a three team trade that I think would help each team. Here's the link. The trade involves the hornets, sixers, and wizards.
Hornets receive Iggy and Mcgee. They would do this because the hornets still need that number two player to go with CP3, who is also a sg which is a position of need for them. Mcgee gives them a defensive minded center who is young and cheap, and who is someone that can fly and be the next cp3 chandler connection.
Sixers receive Emeka Okafor and Jordan Crawford. This gives the Sixers that much needed defensive minded center who can rebound and score a little. He also scores on the inside which is a good compliment to brand who scores from the inside and out but more from outside the paint. It also gives the sixers a young sg who can score and play defense to grab a couple of the minutes that iggy leaving will open up.
The Wizards get Speights and Quincy. They get a power forward/ center that can score from outside the paint and gets more minutes he can also play with wall since he has decent hands. It also gives the wiz a SG/SF who is young and can score. By taking Speights and Quincy they have a young core core to grow with wall, and maybe Speight will finally bloom.
What do you all think?
changed out washington for minny
hornets give up quincy emeka and jack but get a young point in jonny flynn, iggy, and anthony randolph who has the potential to be a great high flyer and if monty can get him to play D he will be great. While we do take a little back contract wise we still have the space to add another big or two.
Minny gives up randolph, toliver, and jonny flynn and get j jack who can be their starting point guard that they have needed and lou williams who can give them some points off the bench. It seems to me that they have given up on flynn anyway, toliver is just a bench player at best, and randolph plays the same position as beasley and love.
Sixers give up Lou williams who all sixers fans hate and iggy. They would do this cuz they get the defensive big they want, a young QPon to take some of the minutes, save money this year and next year when toviller's contract comes off the books, not to mention like I said before sixers fans hate Lou.

The trade is a no-brainer for NOLA
but… The Sixers wouldn’t give up AI9, and the Wiz are really high on Crawford and McGee. The Sixers and Hornets sides of the trade make sense, but Washington would never give up Crawford, let alone McGee and only get Speights and Quincy. You’d have to get the Sixers to throw in a young, more promising wing than Q. Maybe the Sixers would give up Nocioni of possibly, unlikely-ly Evan Turner to make the deal go through. If it went through it would look more like this:
Maybe a stretch on the Sixers part, as they take on a lot of long-term salary, but I think all the teams would be bettered in this deal.
Hornets: They get they’re first legit STARTING shooting guard, and a young, promising center.
Sixers: Get promising shooting guard and power forward, and skilled starting center.
Wizards: Bulid on a promising future of Wall, Turner, and Speights, Quincy could turn into a or at least a 6th man at their weak 3 position, remove a locker room cancer in Blatche.

Kind of a blockbuster, but I think it works for all teams involved.

Blatche. Meka is a Center in my book.

i added a second trade
because unfortunately adding blatche messes everything up and the sixers would never give up evan
They don't seem to be too high on him right now.
I think I heard rumbling at the deadline of him getting shipped out, but I could be wrong.

as a sixer fan as well as hornets fan
the reason to give up iggy would be to give evan more playing time. The organization seems to want to build around evan and jrue or at least that is how the fans feel
Second Trade
Who would start at Center for NOLA. If there was to be a trade, Speights would come to New Orleans. Maybe something like this: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=43g3rxy
New Orleans: Bring in a star shooting guard, two young, cheap big men.
Philadephia: Get their defensive-minded center, bring in two young, promising wings.
Sacramento: Gain a bona fide starting point guard, save money as they can decline the team option on Andersen and a trade exception.

That trade actually could work
And it could work out for all involved. I like it, I wouldn’t mind doing it. I mean, I still think we might need a better center, but if you want high caliber players, there it is.

Yeah. Maybe we could pick up
my pipe dream, Nene, in free agency, and let the other Centers on the roster walk. Because, honestly, Nene is more of a center than Emeka will ever be. Another idea is to bring in a older, veteran center like Camby who could hold down the starring position for the next two years until Thompson or Speights is ready to start. Personally, I really like Thomspon’s athleticism and size (about 7 feet) I could see Thompson as our scoring and rebouning center and Speights holding it down on defense for years to come.

Jordan over Nene?
No way do I do that. Jordan reminds me of Mcgee. Can fly and defend and rebound, but isn’t polished enought on the offensive end. I’m not saying I dislike him, but he wouldn’t be an answer at starter.

Personally I like the second trade most
just because it probably more likely like u said I am not sure the iz would give up Javale for almost anyone especially Speights andQPon
Wiz trade fo sho
There’s no way i make the Miiny trade A) bcuz Johnny Flynn sucks (this coming from a Cuse b-ball fan) and I don’t think Minny’s giving up on Randolph just yet (he tore it up when they gave him mins the tail end of this year) and B) we’re giving up proven vets for unknown potential. I’ll take CP3 to McGee and AI 2.0 as our 20 PPG wingman any day, tho we would need another big man (bring back Landry!)
