Well it's become increasingly obvious that the Hornets will be looking for a new lead assistant for next season, because Mike Malone has met with Warriors ownership about their vacant head coaching job after meeting with the Lakers about their lead assistant position. Malone has also been rumored to be a candidate for the now vacant Raptors job as well but even if he's not offered a head coaching job, he's more likely to take the lead assistant job in Los Angeles than stay at his lead assistant job in New Orleans.
