Hanners has been around the block, basically working exclusively with UNC and then with Larry Brown in the NBA. He's spent the last two years as the lead assistant under Larry Brown in Charlotte but, with Randy Ayers already taking the lead assistant job, I assume that Hanners will not be assuming that role here in New Orleans.
