Jimmy Smith of the Times-Picayune reports that Eric Gordon will miss at least another week of practice.

From his story today:

"We're going to limit him still," Williams said Monday. "I think we'll know more about Eric next week when we start to ramp him up a little bit on the floor. He's been involved in our walk-throughs. He's participated in a lot of our exercises. But I think we're erring on the side of caution right now."

Williams would not go as far as to say Gordon would see any contact work next week as the Hornets have only one game scheduled,Oct. 18 at Atlanta,and six practices on the calendar.

In a sense, none of this really matters until Gordon starts missing regular season time, but we're not too far away from that now. All in all, it's about as bad a start to the Eric Gordon reboot as we could've gotten.
