A trade of one guy that wasn't in New Orleans' rotation but played a superfluous position for another guy that wasn't in Charlotte's rotation but plays a position the Hornets are weak at. Even so, I can't see Matt Carroll getting too many minutes unless Austin Rivers' injury issues continue.
Carroll's 32, ostensibly a swingman, a career 38.4% three point shooter (with the vast, vast majority of those attempts coming between 2005 and 2008), and is slated to make $3.5M in 2012-2013, the final year of his deal. Warrick makes $4M this year with a team option (at $4M again) for next.
