The No. 1 overall pick has missed the last 11 games, but he'll be back on the court Tuesday night.
New Orleans Hornets forward Anthony Davis will return to the court Tuesday after missing time because of an ankle injury, according to Jimmy Smith of the Times-Picayune.
Davis will come off the bench Tuesday, according to Jim Eichenhofer of Hornets.com.
Davis has missed the last 11 games with the injury. Davis, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, has played just six games this season.
With Davis this season, the Hornets are 2-4. Without Davis this season, the Hornets are 3-10.
In those six games, Davis averaged 16 points and eight rebounds per game.
The Hornets will be glad to have the 6'10 forward back as they try to snap a three-game losing streak. They'll try to do that against one of the only teams in the NBA with a worst record -- the Washington Wizards -- on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET.
Davis will rejoin the lineup with Ryan Anderson, who has been the Hornets' go-to player this season with Davis out. Anderson is averaging 18 points and eight rebounds per game.
