Charlotte Bobcats at Detroit Pistons preview -- Game 34

Game Overview: That All-Star Break was SOOOO not enough. Welp, here we go again: 33 more games. First up: the Pistons. Detroit had quietly been playing well before the break, save for a double-digit loss to the Raptors. Outside of that, they were 7-3 in the other ten previous games. Greg Monroe is a monster in the paint and Rodney Stuckey and Brandon Knight form a decent backcourt. The roster isn't quite as much a mishmash of players as Charlotte, but Charlie Villanueva, Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince don't really add much for the money they're earning.

In Bobcats injury news, Gerald Henderson is back today, barring some unforeseen problem. This puts the Bobcats one of, if not the most talented starting five on the court together: Augustin-Henderson-Maggette-Diaw-Biyombo.

Key Matchup: Bismack Biyombo vs. Greg Monroe -- I'm very interested in this matchup. Monroe has improved a ton since last year, rebounding well and showing good ability to score in the paint, as well as some on midrange jumpers.
