After a 1-2 three game home stand, the Hornets start a four game road stand tonight at the Rose Garden in Portland. The four games in five nights combined with the Hornets only dressing nine players saw the team tire out against the Indiana Pacers, and hopefully we'll see a better effort for four quarters against Portland. Speaking of better effort, the Trail Blazers have inexplicably lost 6 of their last 8 games in Portland; a shocking number when you consider how tough it is to play there. Always a personal game for Coach Monty Williams, who was an assistant for five years in Portland, the Hornets go into Portland with Trevor Ariza (illness), Carl Landry (knee) and Jason Smith (concussion) all questionable while Eric Gordon (knee) and Emeka Okafor (knee) are definitely out. For Portland, Greg Oden (knee) is out and Kurt Thomas (concussion) is questionable.
Rohan and some others haven't been able to access the site for a few days which is why there hasn't been much action. He'll be back on when the matter is resolved.
As always, Geaux Hornets!
