There is a large debate about who we should take with the #10 pick. The general opinion is that we should take a PG or add to frontcourt depth. But I feel like we are ok at PG for the next couple years. I think Jack and Vazquez are very capable of running this team, which will be well-equipped with young talent. In the frontcourt, after our #1 pick, we end up with a rotation of Davis, Okafor, Ayon, Smith. I wish that the Hornets could possibly resign Landry, Kaman, or both. Not sure if thats an option, but I would rather have them in the rotation than a new draft pick.
All that being said, I feel that our best position for upgrade is on the wing. I think we can add more offense at the SF position, and attempt to do so without the expense of good defense. Ariza is a great defender, and a solid player for our system. But I still feel we need a 2nd scoring option on the wing. Moe Harkless is a young guy who hasn't received a lot of hype, but is starting to get some attention. Harkless is a long, athletic, silky smooth player with the willingness to play on the defensive end. Has ability to create shots, slash, and hit the jumper. He needs to improve on his strength, but he is so young, his body hasn't fully developed. I feel like he is just waiting to explode, and could develop faster than guys like Perry Jones and Jeremy Lamb.
This is a highlight video from youtube.

And here is a basic scouting report from another website.

Now, the problem is that taking him at 10 may be a bit too high. But I expect him him to go between the 15-22 range. There is a lot of talk about trading our #10 pick. If we could find a package to move back a few spots in the draft, and get a solid veteran in return, I would love to see the front office give this guy a chance.
