In a very interesting move, the Hornets have apparently traded Jarrett Jack to the Golden State Warriors for the rights to 28 year old Bosnian player Edin Bavcic. Bavcic doesn't appear to be coming to New Orleans, though, so we can assume that this is a salary dump and a move to clear the path for the Hornets to start Austin Rivers at point guard for next season.

Hornets would get rights to Edin Bavcic, Euro prospect drafted by Warriors and initially set to go to Philly. NO clears Jack's $5.4M off cap

It seems strange that the Hornets could get nothing for Jack coming in at a reasonable salary, a one year contract and a very good year for the Hornets but it is what it is at this point. More to come as it becomes available.
