/ Brian noted after Friday night's game that it might have been Anthony Davis' most impressive defensive performance of the season.
Davis, of course, entered the season as one of the most heralded defensive prospects in years, but this season has definitely been marked by offensive, not defensive excellence. On the season, Davis' block rate still stands at a very valuable 5.4%, but his tendency to fall for shot fakes and quicker post moves (like Josh Smith's spin Friday night) have shown that some of our original expectations may have been a tad lofty.
Still, Davis certainly seems to have improved of late. Today's discussion topic is Davis' defense; where is he in terms of your expectations for his rookie season? What do you feel have been his biggest strengths and weaknesses? And what of his recent foul troubles -- indicative of longer term issues?
