Manufactured mirth!
The 2012 All-Star Weekend Dunk Contest lineup was announced yesterday -- Brian Roberts didn't make it :( --, as was the Three Point Contest lineup -- Ryan Anderson made it. And so too were the rosters for the Rising Stars Rookie Sophomore Challenge BBVA Contest Thing.
If you'll recall, the NBA created a draft system with a pool of all rookies and sophomores, with Shaquille O'Neal and Charles Barkley selecting their desired players. Both Shaq and Charles eschewed Kyrie Irving with their opening picks, perhaps realizing that he won't play too much ahead of his All-Star Game appearance the next day. Here's the full video:
Davis and Anderson will be the Hornets' only All-Star Weekend participants.
