The NBA announced yesterday that Ryan Anderson will participate in the 3-point Shootout at All-Star Weekend for the second consecutive season. Anderson currently leads the NBA in three pointers attempted and made (also for the second consecutive season), is the league leader in cumulative threes made and attempted since the 2009 season, and is at a career high 40% clip for the year despite attempting more threes per minute than he ever has before.
He'll be joined by Steph Curry (45%), Steve Novak (44%), Matt Bonner (42%), and Paul George (39%). So Anderson will have his work cut out for him; outside of possibly Curry, none of the field can match Anderson's ability to hit threes off the dribble, in motion, or against heavy contests, but Curry, Novak, and Bonner are all likely better standstill shooters.
