Pre-game notes:
- As it's been posted, Jason Smith is out for the rest of the season as he'll undergo surgery next week to repair the torn labrum in his shoulder. The Hornets will probably miss him more than the average NBA fan would tend to believe. Besides being one of our better players, the heart, soul and energy will be impossible to replace.
- Anthony Davis will be out once again due to his left shoulder sprain. This isn't surprising considering Monty was quoted earlier today talking about how Davis' swelling hasn't responded to the medication.
- If you haven't read usnfish's recent Fanpost yet, give it a gander. With the oncoming tank currently rolling down Canal Street, it's a good time to start thinking about the off-season.
