40 Cody Zeller F/C 7-0 240 10/5/1992 Indiana/USA R Indiana Univ.

While the core of the team is filled with undrafted rookies, former NBA players and veterans of the D-League and International scene, the main focus will be on the overall play and production of Charlotte's biggest prospects. Cody Zeller's pro debut will be at center stage, but the most important part of this summer showcase will be focused around Bismack Biyombo.

With the additions of Zeller and Al Jefferson, the pressure is on Biyombo to improve his all-around offensive game or become an even better defender and an elite rebounder in the hopes of keeping a starting job. With the hiring of Patrick Ewing as an assistant head coach, he's taken on the lofty task of being Biyombo's offensive mentor as you can see from this clip. We'll probably have to wait until the regular season to see the full results of his work with Ewing but Biyombo will definitely have the opportunity to showcase any offensive improvement in Vegas.

Both Jeff Taylor and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are going to be entering their sophomore seasons looking to be improve as offensive players. Described as defensive specialists, Taylor and MKG have put an added emphasis on their perimeter shooting during the summer practices so it will be interesting to check in on their progression.

Former D-League All-Star Henry Sims will be making his way to Vegas as a member of the Bobcats after having a solid year with the Erie BayHawks. As a defensive prospect going into the NBA Draft, Sims showed an immense amount of offensive upside as an overall pick and roll threat with the combination of mobility and a solid mid-range jumper. Although Charlotte's frontcourt is pretty much filled with the additions of Jefferson and Zeller, Sims will probably have to look elsewhere for an NBA gig but will be given a golden opportunity to show off those skills with the Bobcats Summer League team.

With a few backcourt opportunities available on Charlotte's bench, a handful of undrafted players will be looking to claw and scratch their way to the final 15 man roster. Names like Troy Daniels (VCU) and Brandon Triche (Syracuse) lead the crop of players but my focus will be centered on Daniels, who was a definite sharpshooter during his four-year college career. Shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc in his senior season, Daniels never really left that comfort zone, which could be an extremely interesting thing to watch in Vegas.
