Hey guys, I was just wondering about everyone's thoughts on Gerald Henderson, regarding whether you guys want to keep him, trade him, or just let him walk.
Henderson finished out the year strong enough for him to be placed in the top 5 shooting guards efficiency wise, this is even more impressive when you consider how often he was facing double teams. He will probably become even more efficient with the ball next year when simply doubling Hendo will no longer be an option with actual front court threats.
Henderson posted these stats for the year
Before the break - After the Break
PPG= 13 - 19
APG= 2 - 4
RPG= 3 - 4
STLPG= 1 - 1
BLKPG= 0.5 - 0.5
PER= 11 - 18
TOPG= 1.4 - 1.8
MPG= 28 - 34
I personally think that it is in the teams best interest to resign Hendo, he is as a legit SG as they come, he defends, he scores, he can run the play, he is relatively low in terms of usage, and he is versatile and will be near unstoppable when his 3 ball drops at around the 38% mark.
So let me know what you think, sorry if this post is lacking in quality, its 1am and yeah.
