This idea is from a Celtics fan FYI wanting your opinion.
Notes: On Jeff green he is not a #1 option and is shrinking in that role but i think he would work magic with Jefferson in the front court, very good at shooting threes and driving to basket, struggles with mid range jumper. Has defended Lebron better than most (so has Bass)
I spent the last little bit of my Friday afternoon not working. But saw something interesting on trade machine. The Bobcats right now are playing very well and have a big salary chip to move.
They could swap Gordon and the pistons pick (some asset) to the Celtics for Green + (Crawford/Bass/Bayless/Humphries)
Hollinger analysis is not great but its interesting to note that this trade increases your proj win by 7 AND takes the celtics down by 10. a win win for both teams (might take MKG) (this trade is Gordon for green + Crawford)
What would Bobcat fans think of this type of deal? (gordon + assets for win now) Green does not have the best contract but it is not BAD. 8.7 this year 9.2 next with player option in 15/16 of 9.2 (doubt he keeps that option).
You can mix and match a second player from *in () is next year contract status*. Crawford (RFA), Bass (7 mill next year), Bayless (FA), Humphries (FA) type of group.
