Quick Recap of the Bobcats Win Over the 76ers

The Bobcats are an up and down team, in general, but in tonight's game, they were up and down from quarter to quarter. They won, 100-95, but not before giving up 35 points in the 4th quarter and giving all their fans (see: me) several anxiety attacks along the way. This, after holding Philly to 10 points in the 2nd quarter.

-- Raja continued to struggle somewhat, shooting only 5-14 from the field, but Raymond picked him up, scoring 20 points on 8-14 shooting. And Raja still did plenty to be useful, like grab 8 rebounds.

-- Gerald had a Gerald game, scoring 14 and pulling down 11 boards.

-- Diaw shot and shot and shot, going 8-16 from the field, but he was 2-3 from three and also 6-7 from the line.

-- Emeka was in foul trouble much of the game and only logged 25 minutes, but he was 4-4 shooting in that time.

-- DJ Augustin jumped off the bench to score 13 points on 4-5 shooting in 16 minutes.

-- This win was unexpected, and it lowers the bar the Cats will have to clear to make the playoffs. Tomorrow, as the Bobcats play the New York Knicks, one of Indiana and Chicago will be knocking the other down a peg. Detroit is in Washington, which shouldn't be a difficult game, but you saw what happened to Charlotte a few days ago.

We'll have more tomorrow and a preview of the Knicks game.
