One day, I'll make it to a game at Madison Square Garden. Tonight's game would have been my chance to see the Bobcats there, but, alas, work kept me here. I don't mind too much, though. Temps are in the 70s today and will be tomorrow, too. I played ball on an outdoor court early this afternoon. I'm tanned, warm, and the Bobcats are playing well. Life is good.
Again, the key to playing D'Antoni's team is to not get caught up in their pace, because their personnel have been selected and trained specifically to play that style, and our team has not. In a certain light, it seems self-evident to play as the roster is designed to play, but the D'Antoni style insidiously seeps into the opponents' psyche.
