BOBCATS MAD LIBS
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Charlotte Bobcats owner FAMOUS LIVING MUSIC STAR gazed at the falling confetti and balloons as music blared and friends and family celebrated in surrounding courtside seats. Was this real? Were the Bobcats 2011 NBA champions? Just one year after buying the team and injecting new life into the franchise, the answer is yes.
Bobcats players had hardly begun celebrating with each other before they swarmed the owner's courtside seats, popping champagne bottles and screaming with the crowd.
BOBCATS PLAYER 1 shouted, over the noise, "I can hardly believe we did it. BOBCATS PLAYER 2 called me and my agent when we were on vacation at BODY OF WATER and told me MUSIC STAR had bought the team, and I was skeptical. But I'm telling you, it was the best thing that's ever happened to this franchise."
Out on the court, BOBCATS PLAYER 2 was VERB 1 ADVERB at half court. MUSIC STAR simply watched from the sideline and smiled.
"It's everything I dreamed of and more," MUSIC STAR said. "Back in January, 2010, this team started showing signs of fight and life, and I knew I had to be a part of it. Ultimately, I'm famous for entertaining, but I wanted to give back, to support other class entertainers like these guys. It was an opportunity I couldn't pass up, and I'm happier than I've ever been in my life. I could VERB 2 right now."
What about the game? Game 7 wasn't much. The Bobcats held O.J. Mayo to 14 points on 6-12 shooting. Zach Randolph, who pushed the series to a seventh game with his 43 point explosion in Game 6, went down meekly, smothered by wonderful team defense, scoring only 11 points and grabbing only 5 rebounds.
"That BOBCATS PLAYER 1 is a real player," Randolph said. "He reminds me of a young RETIRED NBA PLAYER 1. And BOBCATS PLAYER 2? There's no wonder he won the Finals MVP. I don't think RETIRED NBA PLAYER 2, at his best, could have shared a court with him. He was like a ANIMAL, VERB 3 all over the place out there. I'm just in awe. If we had a MYTHICAL CREATURE on our team, we wouldn't have been able to stop them tonight."
MUSIC STAR wandered through the tunnel back to a waiting limousine. What's next?
"The players deserve to celebrate without me looking over their shoulders. Besides, I just got a call. The producers of MOVIE TITLE want to make a movie out of our whirlwind ride. I'm for it, but we've got some negotiating to do. I'll only cooperate if they shoot it in Charlotte, not AMERICAN CITY like they said they wanted to do."
