Bobcats Escape Kings 103-96

The Bobcats nearly wasted a big game from Gerald Wallace with a horrific fourth quarter, but they still managed to beat the Kings in Sacramento, 103-96. It was the Bobcats' third straight win.

Wallace finished with 38 points and 11 rebounds, and had 2 clutch blocked shots in the wild fourth quarter. With Tyreke Evans relegated to the bench with a thigh injury, the Kings went on a furious run, outscoring the Cats 29-13 in the quarter and, at one point, forcing Charlotte into missing 13 straight shots. However, as with the last meeting between these teams, Sacramento simply ran out of time.

The Bobcats next play in Portland on Monday night, and finish this stretch of road games in Los Angeles against the Lakers on Wednesday night. Now 3-1 on this West Coast swing, they're guaranteed to return to Charlotte next weekend with at least a .500 record for the trip.
