The Golden State Warriors defeated the Charlotte Bobcats, 96-95, after a wild finish that ended with Gerald Henderson drawing an offensive foul on an inbound play with 8.5 seconds to go, then Stephen Jackson missing a long three point attempt for the win.
Gerald Wallace led the way for the Cats with 20 points and 8 rebounds, and Henderson had an extremely encouraging game, scoring 10 points and pulling down 6 rebounds in 22 minutes.
The Cats' next game is on Monday evening against the Miami Heat. They'll need a much better game than this one just to hang close.
Have a happy and safe New Year's Eve.
