Charlotte Bobcats at Houston Rockets game preview -- Game 67

Game Overview: The Bobcats are on a winning streak! This is a weird feeling, considering the Bobcats looked so hopeless recently. But with Stephen Jackson and Tyrus Thomas back, the Bobcats have made up a lot of ground in total team talent. Tyrus, though not as productive offensively, is easing back into the game so don't expect his scoring to get going for possibly another game or so. Getting back into such a physical sport after a big injury takes adjustment. Don't fret. Gerald Henderson has become a near-rock of the offense, with his solid midrange shot and sharp cuts, as well as his ability to finish inside. The youth movement is in motion.

Meanwhile, in Houston, the Rockets are flying under the radar. While they're probably going to lose out to the Grizzlies for the final playoff spot, they're playing well behind the strong shooting. Luis Scola remains solid in the post and a fantastic rebounder. Kevin Martin scores in bunches and Chase Budinger has become an excellent scorer, shooting 48% from the field for about 17 ppg over the past 10 games. However, this Rockets team is pathetically inept on defense.

Key Matchup: Gerald Henderson vs. Kevin Martin - Can Henderson shut down a great scorer? Can he take advantage of Martin's sub-par defense?

Remember When? 'Member when it looked like our draft pick would come down to Henderson or Terrence Williams? So far, who do you think is the better player? Henderson does have the added bonus of having his head screwed on the right way.
