Ramon Sessions should be Signed "By end of Business" per Rick Bonnell

Rich Cho was looking for a taller point guard, and it looks like the Bobcats have found their man after Rick Bonnell drove the nail through a report from Marc Stein that Charlotte were drawing close to signing the 26 year-old PG who spent the 2011-12 season with the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

It's almost assured that Sessions would charged with backing up Kemba Walker this season, and coming to Charlotte represents a homecoming of sorts for the Myrtle Beach, SC native.

Playing 23 games, and starting 19 for the Lakers, Sessions finished the season averaging 12.7 pts, and 6.2 assists while shooting a career high .479 from the field. He was also impressive from behind the arc where he shot .479 from three (also a career high). This marks the first significant free agent signing from the Bobcats this season, and should spell the exit for veteran D.J. Augustin-- either through sign-and-trade, or by offer sheet.

Bobcats fans: What do you think about this signing? Are you excited to see Sessions in Charlotte, and what do you think the next step for Augustin is?
