Bobcats open preseason with 87-85 loss to Hawks

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

I was apparently blacked out from watching this game, per the messages that popped up on each possible option on my DirecTV tonight. Regardless, I don't really care about exhibition games much. They're a carefree look at the players most likely to make the regular season roster but are hardly great indicators of how the players or team will perform. Anyway, the Bobcats lost at the buzzer after Jannero Pargo missed a three-pointer. Again, I doubt that's indicative of how the Bobcats will choose to spend their final shot in a regular season game.

Based upon a strictly box score view and following Twitter, Kemba Walker drew fouls at a solid rate, Ramon Sessions can still score effectively, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist still struggles with his shot, Bismack Biyombo's hands are still rougher than sandpaper, etc.

For those who were able to watch the game, please comment on what you saw from this first preseason game from the Bobcats.
