Al Jefferson will sit tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers, with Bismack Biyombo getting the start at center in his stead. According to Rick Bonnell, Jefferson has a limp, which gives the Bobcats enough concern that they'll let him rest a bit more before bringing him back again.
Jefferson, who made his first game appearance in the season opener since a right ankle sprain in a preseason game against the Miami Heat a couple weeks ago, struggled mightily in his debut. His 6-for-19 shooting for 13 points and 8 rebounds gave some fans pause about his health.
I'm not sure how much his ankle affected his play, but I would hope a healthier one would go great lengths to improving what we saw against Houston a couple nights ago because yikes.
Instead, the Bobcats will likely start the same frontcourt pair they used a lot in the preseason with Jefferson out: Josh McRoberts and Bismack Biyombo.
