Depleted Bobcats to play Warriors without Jeff Taylor, Bismack Biyombo and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Sam Sharpe-USA TODAY Sports

As if missing Michael Kidd-Gilchrist wasn't bad enough, it seems a perfect storm is brewing for tonight's game between the Cats and the Golden State Warriors now that Jeff Taylor and Bismack Biyombo out (heel contusion and ankle sprain, respectively).

The immediate impact could be sever considering the Warriors' depth on the wings with Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes and Draymond Green. Biyombo's absence doesn't cut the Bobcats as deep with Jeff Adrien offering help from the bench on the glass and on defense.

Steve Clifford's plan is to start Anthony Tolliver at small forward and then progress to using Gerald Henderson as a small forward when bringing Ramon Sessions or Ben Gordon off the bench. Sessions and Gordon will see plenty of minutes and though I doubt we'll see James Southerland much, if this goes as poorly as expected, it could result in plenty of garbage time. The Warriors have the perimeter shooting to drown the Bobcats with threes, a recipe for a long night for the Bobcats and their already weak perimeter defense.

The Warriors are still without Andre Iguodala (strained left hamstring), Toney Douglas (stress reaction in left tibia) and Festus Ezeli (right knee surgery).
