All-Star Weekend open thread

I love NBA All-Star weekend. More than any other sport's All-Star festivities. There are so many things to watch, so many different events, such a variety of athletes participating. I've never been fond of the Pro Bowl. I've wanted to, but I just haven't been able to embrace it. There's just so many different players that it's not cohesive. With smaller numbers for NBA games, it's easier for the players to work together, even if that only happens on the offensive end. Plus there's the dunk contest, the Rising Stars Challenge, the Three-Point Contest, celebrity game, etc. For me, at least, it's the best one of its kind.

Well, except for the music performances. Hockey had The Roots last year. The NBA has Ke$ha this year.

Anyway, I'll be keeping this post up all weekend here so we have our own forum if you choose to use it. I'm working a bunch of nights this weekend, but I'll try to catch the games.

Hope everyone's enjoying the break!
