Amin Vafa over at Hardwood Paroxysm takes fans down memory lane showcasing the winning history of the Lakers' and Celtics' and all the while reminding us what it means now that it temporarily seems to be over.

Because we know you just can't get enough of the Lakers: Kevin Zimmerman reports that Pau Gasol will miss approximately 6-8 weeks with a partially torn plantar fascia.

A must-read for any NBA junkies out there (yes, you!): In another trip down memory lane, over at SLC Dunk this time, Yucca Man takes us through a great review of the "motion" or "flex" offense that Jerry Sloan so masterfully implemented in the Jazz' glory days.

Since recent err, events have brought this issue to wide attention once again, NBA Commissioner David Stern chimes in. He "expects" the NBA to start testing for HGH next season. This could mean a plethora of things for the league.

Byron Mullens' made his 2013 debut this week after missing over a month of action due to a sprained ankle. He talks to our good friend Rick Bonnell over at the Charlotte Observer about his journey back, specifically getting his confidence back to 100%. Great read.

Last but not least, our very own Brandon Becker here at Rufus On Fire takes us through a review of this weeks winless Bobcats' news.
