Bobcats vs Pistons Game Preview: The Sad Blogger Bowl

I blog for the Bobcats and the Pistons. This is a game preview between the two teams. You get the point.

Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE

Projected starting lineups

Bobcats | Pistons

Kemba Walker | Jose Calderon

Gerald Henderson | Rodney Stuckey

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | Kyle Singler

Byron Mullens | Jason Maxiell

Bismack Biyombo | Greg Monroe

Before I start making unfunny comments about tonight's game, let's step back and take a look at the lineups. SO BAD. Yes, I blog for both of these teams. This is what life has come to for me.

Anyway, the season series between these two teams is split 1-1, with the Bobcats taking the first one in overtime and the Pistons stealing the second.

Both of these teams are in tank mode. The Pistons are looking for their first win this month (they're 0-10 so far), while the Bobcats are riding a not-at-all historic two-game win streak after a 1-12 stretch.

Both Brandon Knight (ankle, day-to-day) and Andre Drummond (back, season) will not be playing for the Pistons, so all of the excitement that went along with watching this team is now absent. Go Will Bynum!

It's going to be fun to watch the dynamic match-up between point guards Jose Calderon and Kemba Walker, seeing how Calderon can stay with Walker on defense.

Another really intriguing match up might be the Henderson-Stuckey match-up. Both of the times they've played this season, it's been Henderson against Brandon Knight or Henderson against Kyle Singler, and both times, Henderson didn't shoot too well.

Here's a song that kind of fits the tone of today's game:

Why does this have anything to do with the upcoming game? Well, this game is going to be pretty boring and tough to watch unless you're "High for this".
