SB Nation NBA Playoffs open thread (Tuesday, April 30)

Tonight, we have two excellent matchups on TNT. Join fans from other SB Nation sites and talk basketball!

Hello all, and welcome to Rufus on Fire. Unless you're a Bobcats fan, you've probably never been here. We have pretty colors and people that specialize in animated GIFs. This'll be fun!

As I'm sure you've noticed by now, SB Nation NBA is giving fans of teams not in the playoffs (whether because they're in the LOLtery or they've already been eliminated) a chance to get to know one another. Just because our teams aren't in the Playoffs doesn't mean we don't like the Playoffs. Let's drink beer and enjoy some awesome basketball together.

This is essentially a Game Thread, so we have some basic rules:

  • Avoid using subject lines unless absolutely necessary.
  • GIFs are cool, but keep them relevant. Don't flood the page with GIFs just because you like GIFs.
  • Be nice to one another. Our teams are not good enough to be in the Playoffs. Take this common weakness and stand united.
Really, that's about it.

Schedule

Warriors at Nuggets, 8 p.m. EST (TNT)

Tonight, the Nuggets try to avoid elimination after allowing the Warriors to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. Expect lots of Stephen Curry.

Grizzlies at Clippers, 10:30 p.m. EST (TNT)

This series is tied at 2-2, and has been the most difficult series to analyze. Still, we get Chris Paul and Marc Gasol. I'm not complaining.
