According to ProBasketballDraft and later Sheridan Hoops, the Bobcats are shopping around Kidd-Gilchrist and a draft day trade is possible.
The Charlotte Bobcats have been shopping Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Potential that he is moved on draft night. #NBADraft

I highly doubt there's any substance to this rumor. Unless MKG said some very mean things to Michael Jordan last season, it wouldn't make sense for the Bobcats to give up on one of their best young assets after just one year.
However, Otto Porter reportedly wowed the Bobcats and they appear to be smitten with him. The potential logjam at the small forward position might be a reason the Bobcats would trade MKG. According to Sheridan Hoops, the Wizards are sold on Anthony Bennett and that will leave Porter on the board for the Bobcats.
Or maybe a the Bobcats want another pick or a budding star. This would likely involve a larger package from both sides.
But let's be honest: These scenarios seem unlikely. Most trade rumors we hear that don't involve big-time stars rarely amount to anything.
