Bobcats roll over Knicks, 84-71

Jeff Taylor once again led the Bobcats to victory with another stellar performance.

Right from the tip, the battle down low was fierce. Bismack Biyombo was battling with every player that tried to get to the bucket in the first quarter and was pretty successful in limiting them. However, Bismack wasn't all good as a whole, however, as he had three fouls and was a non-factor on offense. It was a close game after one and the intensity was building.

In the second quarter, the Bobcats began to pull away when they got some easy shots inside. Cody Zeller's six points and stellar defense helped too. However, in the last minute of the first half CJ Leslie and the Knicks came storming back as Leslie led the Knicks to within six at the half, 47-41.

The second half began with the Bobcats not playing like the Bobcats usually do in the third quarter: coming strong out of the gate with the Bobcats going on an 11-2 run. A major part of that run was Zeller working his mid-range game to perfection. The Bobcats ended the quarter on a good note, extending their lead once again, 68-57.

It was the same story once more in the fourth quarter with the Bobcats storming out of the gates and going on a 9-2 run. Once again, the common theme was the mid-range jumper. The rest of the game wasn't very close either and the Bobcats came out on top with an easy 84-71 win.
